AMS AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING TO PROVIDE FREE HVAC ADVICE/SERVICE TO SENIORS IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY DURING COVID PANDEMIC

Today alone, I must have seen at least five different TV reporters, TV stars, and government officials address the COVID-19 pandemic and reassure us that “we’re all in this together.”

Artists bring music and entertainment into our homes, teachers and professors educate us and our children through remote learning, Instacart and Peapod deliver our food to us, each playing a role in easing this period of what would otherwise be utter isolation.

Today, Maryland’s Governor, Larry Hogan, issued a “stay at home” order, limiting the excursions of much of the population to essential missions only. But for those of you who have been urged to stay home and not leave AT ALL, the statement “we’re all in this together” may ring empty, particularly if you are experiencing HVAC issues. Staying at home under those circumstances can seem like an outright punishment for a crime you never committed.

We, at AMS, are here for you during this challenging time.

If you are age 65 or above and live in Rockville, Potomac, Silver Spring, Kensington, Olney or Gaithersburg, and need help either troubleshooting your heating/cooling issues over the phone (if that makes you feel most secure) or in person, we will offer our advice and labor* to you at no charge until April 15th, 2020. Please feel free to call us at (240)899-5777 between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM either for telephonic assistance or to schedule an appointment. Should you elect to have us come to your home, AMS will observe all distancing requirements when servicing your system and take other precautionary measures. In these challenging times, we hope to bring you added comfort.

*Unfortunately, we cannot subsidize HVAC parts, if they become necessary. We will, however, provide our labor absolutely free.
